Candles, air fresheners and home and body products manufacturer For Every Body says it has increased productivity, streamlined operations and enhanced customer service since going live with an Infor ERP Visual system.
Beyond the core manufacturing, the company went for CRM, financials and time and attendance modules, and For Every Body CEO Paul Anderson says the system now supports its complete business lifecycle, from planning to production and delivering.
“As one of the largest and fastest growing candle and home décor manufacturers in the US, we required a new, comprehensive ERP system to support our growth and optimise organisational resources,” he says.
He likes the graphical user interface, which is the system’s link into handling MRP, advanced planning and scheduling, manufacturing execution and quality management – which, he says, strengthens the company’s competitive position.
“We selected ERP Visual because it delivers robust functionality for our global business operations, something that our previous system could not do. Visual’s faster implementation methodology provides us with a lower total cost of ownership and a quicker return on investment,” says Anderson.
As for specific functionality, he refers to the system’s financials module, which accommodates multiple currencies at both ends of the supply chain and handles the consolidation of charts of accounts between business units and divisions.
He also says that For Every Body is using the integrated CRM module to improve price quoting and management of customer data – providing the tools and information to manage prospects, customer accounts, contracts, quoting, and sales and marketing campaigns.
