The new 23,000 sq ft facility in Staveley, Chesterfield, is an open-plan, four-building complex that forms a major part of the company’s expansion plans as it continues to build its presence in the forklift truck (FLT) market.
The firm has seen major growth in the last few years and outgrew its former head office in Bolsover.
The new headquarters have been completely refurbished and will provide space to grow new ventures and continue with expansions of the company’s core LPG business.
Neil Murphy, managing director of AvantiGas, said: “Since the inception of AvantiGas our workforce has increased by 45%, and we have many additional growth opportunities which we want to pursue but which had been hampered by lack of space.
“The hard-working AvantiGas team has earned the right to work in a superior environment which is very 21st-century. The new head office is bigger, more modern, works more fluidly and respects people’s space.”
Alex Harrison, AvantiGas B2B marketing executive, added: “We see huge potential for working with new and existing customers in the FLT market and our continuing expansion is bringing us new opportunities to meet their needs.”
