Fujitsu and Glovia launch G2 for global production management
Fujitsu and Glovia International are launching Glovia G2 today – their next-generation production management ERP system for manufacturing.
The organisation, which has been quiet in the UK manufacturing scene for many years, having focused its energies in the logistics arena, now says G2 "combines functionality compliant with international standards and Japanese manufacturing know-how".
Claims include quick deployment and integration of production management systems and an ability to make manufacturing visible by tracking production, sales and inventory status of each business site in real time.
As for key product features, they include: rich Internet applications; standard connection functionality to sales force CRM; a service-orientated architecture platform; and an expanded security manager that looks after security at the user and user-group levels.
