Haggis manufacturer Macsween has Sanderson ERP in the bag

Macsween of Edinburgh, the renowned haggis manufacturer, is to replace its Sage and Microsoft Access management systems with an installation from Sanderson.

Jo Macsween, director of Macsween of Edinburgh, says that automating business processes in the factory and the warehouse will help the company to address its busy peak periods during the three months from November to February. "By investing in Sanderson, we believe [we] will have the right system to help support our company's expansion plans over the coming years. A single integrated system will help us meet our customer needs more efficiently while assisting us to evaluate good opportunities for the future," he says. Macsween gives the example of stock visibility, which, he says, will be dramatically improved. And he says that Sanderson's heritage in the food industry will also help, in terms of both implementation and eventual operations.
