Hilton Foods to deploy LINKFresh supply chain software
Hilton Foods Ireland, part of Europe's largest red meat packing group, is to deploy the Microsoft Dynamics-based LINKFresh food supply chain management solution, from Anglia Business Solutions.
Pat Tracey, group IT manager at Hilton Food Group, explains that the two-phase project will see the existing financial solution being replace and the new system integrated with Hilton Food's operational systems.
Once deployed, the solution will encompass financials, supply chain management, manufacturing and supply planning.
The system will also include a mobile application for quality control, a cloud-based retail survey solution and management reporting using the Zap Business Analytics suite, incorporated within LINKFresh ERP.
"Our Irish business is expanding and we need a single, fully-integrated solution that will grow with our business," states Tracey.
"We were impressed with the food industry functionality already included within the LINKFresh solution," he continues. "This will allow us to refine our operational practices for maximum efficiency and provide improved management information."
