IAM Cloud offers half price authentication as a service

IAM Secure is offering what it describes as enterprise strength, simple, secure enterprise authentication-as-a-service is being offered at half the price of managed authentication service costs.
The solution will be available only at www.iam-secure.com and the solution, dubbed IAM Cloud, is claimed to provide fast, two-factor authentication deployment via SMS, soft tokens and OATH standard hardware tokens, with no new infrastructure requirements or costs.
Users will pay a monthly, per user subscription fee, but that's all. IAM Secure says it aims to reduce the overheads associated with enterprise strength authentication platforms.
It also claims to provide greater authentication choice than low-cost pay per use SMS authentication services.
Nic Sarginson, head of technology at IAM Secure, says: "With authentication now the gatekeeper of remote worker productivity, many organisations pay over the odds for managed services and hardware intensive solutions that simply aren't necessary.
"IAM Cloud will allow them to have sophisticated authentication with no infrastructure costs and that can be scaled up and down to meet changing requirements."
