Infor ERP LN positions GSH Europe for growth

Energy management solutions firm GSH Europe is to implement Infor ERP LN software across all of its 12 European branches, with completion due in the Netherlands and Belgium this year, and go=live on 1 January 2012.
Other European branches, including Switzerland, Germany and Denmark will follow later, according to Almer van Wensveen, CFO of GSH Europe, who says that the company is experiencing rapid change, both as a result of acquisitions and expanding its services for growth.
He explains that GSH Europe's parent company, GSH Group, uses an IBM solution to manage its finance and back office requirements. However, different operational needs at the divisional level drove the company to select Infor ERP LN for its branches in Europe.
Van Wensveen says that the system was selected particularly for its financials and data integration, which outperformed the IBM solution – providing real-time insight into financial administration.
He also says that Infor ERP LN supplies detailed pricing calculations for service contracts: costs associated with each contract can be monitored continuously, ensuring proper planning and controls.
"With the implementation of Infor ERP LN, GSH is ready for the next strategic growth phase, for both our building engineering and facilities support business units," says van Wensveen.
"Maximum operational and financial transparency, from the moment of calculation and installation right through to management and maintenance, will contribute substantially to our organisation's profitability and continuity," he adds.
