Infor is the most influential private technology company in the world, according to a study by analyst Aberdeen Group.
Its survey, part of 'Aberdeen's 2009 State of the Market: Mid Year Insights Report', involved more than 1,600 business leaders in 36 countries.
Infor moved up five places this year to number 13 overall, and is the only privately-held company to make the list.
Aberdeen's report is aimed at highlighting best practices and recommended actions for managing customers, employees, products, services and IT in today's volatile market.
The analyst determined the top technology vendors by asking survey respondents to identify the three technology companies that have the largest influence on their day-to-day operations. Infor came out ahead of companies like AT&T, Intel and Adobe.
"Our ranking on Aberdeen's list honours the great strides we have made in meeting the changing needs of our customers through innovative offerings, such as Infor Flex and Infor MyDay," comments Jim Schaper, chairman and CEO at Infor.
