K3 launches customer portal for manufacturers

K3 says it is improving its customer service levels by launching a website dedicated to Syspro and Equator ERP and HR system users.

Lauren Waterman, K3 customer services manager, says that the portal brings together resources so that clients can access information as well as find key contacts. She explains that it includes a library of 'How to' guides, giving step-by-step instructions with screenshots that walk customers through most scenarios. "These also serve as quick reminders to the training they will have previously received. This growing resource is updated regularly to answer customers' FAQs and provides an encyclopaedic knowledge base," says Waterman.. "The Portal puts the resources they need at their fingertips and is easy to access from any browser-enabled PC. Customers can set up the Portal as a favourite in their web browsers, so that it's only a few clicks away," she adds. Beyond that, customers can also find information on seminars, events and training courses – as well as latest news on product developments and service enhancements. "We tested the portal with a trial group of customers before we launched it and they helped guide us through the various features they required to make it work for them. Now that is available to all our customers, we are looking forward to further feedback," says Waterman.
