Kitron live with IFS Applications and IFS Enterprise Explorer
Norwegian electronic manufacturing services firm Kitron reports a successful go-live on IFS Applications throughout the entire group.
The ERP system, which has been implemented at its operations in Norway, Sweden, Lithuania, Germany, China and the US, includes the latest IFS Enterprise Explorer interface, which improves navigation for users.
The project started in 2009, when Kitron decided on IFS Applications, with a goal of standardising and streamlining its business processes multi-nationally.
Olaf Kristen Kristensen, solutions competence centre manager at Kitron, says that one of the original most important requirements during the evaluation process was an intuitive and user-friendly interface – and hence IFS Enterprise Explorer.
"Now, when the dust has settled, we can conclude that IFS Enterprise Explorer has proven itself as a successful investment," confirms Kristensen.
"The interface has been well received throughout the corporation, since it makes it easy for users to locate, enter and communicate the correct data," he adds.
