“It will be insightful to hear Lord O’Neill’s views on building business resilience given his "pragmatic, long-term" vision of currency markets. He is known to make improvements upon traditional models of data analysis by incorporating elements that ultimately make them more accurate. I am also delighted that the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, will be joining us on stage as a special guest on Tuesday July 12.”
‘Transforming Industry’, the second headline session on July 12, will begin with a keynote from Cedrik Neike, CEO of Siemens Digital Industries, before a discussion about how technology can enable British and Irish manufacturers to become more competitive, productive and sustainable, hosted by Brian Holliday, MD Siemens Digital Industries UK&I, and featuring: Darren Budd, Commercial Director at BASF; Alberto Prado, Head of R&D Digital & Partnerships at Unilever; Frank Ludwig, Chief Transformation Officer at Jaguar Land Rover; Stephen Phipson CBE, Chief Executive Office, Make UK; and Sarah Black-Smith, General Manager, Motion Control Business, Siemens UK&I.
On July 13 the spotlight will shift to the latest cutting-edge innovation and technologies that can transform an organisation in the ‘What’s Next in Tech?’ session, with practical insights from those who have implemented tech innovations and seen the amazing results. The keynote will be delivered by Peter Koerte, CTO at Siemens, before a panel discussion hosted by Joan Mulvihill, Digitalisation lead Siemens UK&I, and featuring: Daniel Watkins, Head of CAD/PLM, Oracle Red Bull Racing; David Threlfall, CIO, Britishvolt; Nick Bateman, CEO GrowPura; Rob Passmore, Commercial Lead, North Devon Biosphere.
