Liebherr builds on CoCreate’s PLM solution
Construction machinery manufacturer Liebherr has now bought CoCreate’s OneSpace Model Manager data management software to run in several of its departments.
The company, which already uses 300 seats of CoCreate’s OneSpace Modeling 3D CAD tool in its crane, mixing technology, domestic appliance and machine tool divisions, is now deploying an equal number of the data management software.
Liebherr says the system will allow its designers to quickly load and store design data, regardless of its size – loading only what they need when they need it, since the system preserves system resources by supporting lightweight models and partial loads.
