Dressings, dips and sauces manufacturer Litehouse Foods says it has increased visibility and productivity throughout its organisation as a result of implementing a Ross EPM (enterprise performance management) sales analytics application.
Litehouse has been a Ross ERP user since 1998 and also installed its supply chain management (SCM) functionality in 2002. The company says it had achieved significant improvements in key measures like order fulfilment and inventory, spoilage and cost reduction – but wanted to improve its ability to leverage its sales and customer service data.
Using Ross EPM, now owned by CDC Software, Litehouse says it can access and analyse information from its ERP in graphical format to provide managers with a complete view of customer service and sales performance information, with drill-downs and the rest.
“Working with Ross allows us to make the right information available to the right individual,” explains John Shaw, Litehouse Foods’ IT director. “EPM puts the power of information at the fingertips of our executives and sales force. If they have a question, rather than waiting a day or two, they can find the answer in about three minutes. This translates to faster and better decisions, which in turn translate into improved customer service and increased revenue.”
