In an effort to help manufacturers maximise investment in their existing enterprise systems, mid-market ERP software vendor Made2Manage (M2M) has added new CRM (customer relationship management) and business intelligence (BI) functionality to its product portfolio.
The M2M CRM software includes sales and marketing management, support and field service management and product configuration tools designed to help businesses generate more qualified prospects, automate the selling cycle, and free up time for sales staff to focus on closing deals with clients.
“The environment for manufacturers today is increasingly competitive, making it more difficult to attract and retain good customers. The release of the integration solution version 1.0 is the first of many steps we’re taking to leverage our CRM solution,” explains M2M’s CRM product manager, Brad McCollum.
And through its agreement with reseller Concord Business Systems, M2M can also now offer clients enhancements to its Notifier business intelligence tool – through Concord’s EA (Events and Actions) product.
EA can handle criteria other than status changes (eg. profit percentage is unacceptable), multiple events (eg. the purchase order is more than £1,000) and time-based events (eg. a quote is due within the next 5 days). As well as pop-ups, emails and fax actions, it has an ‘executable program’ option (eg. automatic ‘hold’ on purchase orders, quotes and sales orders).
