Manufacturers put Priority first for ERP solution

Two more manufacturers – Puma Engineering and Construction and Derby Gaskets – have signed up to the Priority ERP system from eMerge to run their businesses.

Puma Engineering and Construction, which serves the petrochemical industry, chose the system to support “unprecedented growth”. Puma managing director Colin Burdle expects the system to provide valuable estimating, job costing and administrative functionality. “We chose Priority because of its superb flexibility and the positive impact it will have on our business,” says Burdle. “Our business is growing very fast, and we needed a system that will enable us to grow in a profitable controlled manner. It is an extremely adaptable system and we know that we will be able to tailor it to our needs as the business progresses.” Meanwhile, Derby Gaskets, which recently underwent a management buyout from SJ Group, was an eMerge user at SJ, and, following what it describes as a comprehensive review, has chosen to stick with the system. Derby Gaskets managing director Chris Prince says: “Priority is a fantastic solution. We need a system we can rely on in these exciting times for our business. The software, the skills and the support provided by the eMerge team are extremely impressive and we are looking forward to forging an ongoing relationship.”
