Syspro ERP system firm McGuffie Brunton, which celebrates 25 years in business today, says it won 11 new deals in its first quarter worth some £900,000.
Latest customers include: Allen-Vanguard, which manufactures remote operating vehicles (ROVs) for bomb disposal and counter terrorism; Fontaine International Europe, the world’s largest manufacturer of fifth wheel coupling devices that connect truck tractors to trailers; and Grange Packaging and Distribution, a company that wraps and packs chocolates and sweets on behalf of confectionery manufacturers.
McGuffie Brunton also recently the latest version of Syspro 6.0 Version 10, with deeper functionality across all of finance, distribution and manufacturing, and greater freedom for tailoring to suit individual business requirements.
“Syspro software is amongst the most flexible of IT systems in the market,” claims says Howard Joseph, McGuffie Brunton’s sales director. “Not only does it give our customers better visibility of information, cost savings on inventory and better efficiency with production, but it allows them to work the they want to. They don’t have to change their processes to suit the software: this is a major attraction for SME enterprises, which is our major market.”
McGuffie Brunton was established in Manchester in October 1981 – the same year that Microsoft rolled out its MS-DOS operating system and IBM launched the IBM PC.
