It is a national celebration of UK manufacturing and a chance for manufacturers up and down the country to open their doors to demonstrate the exciting and well-paid jobs across this vibrant sector.
Manufacturers throughout the UK are once again be opening their doors. Members of the public will be invited into factories and sites for a behind-the-scenes look at how Manufacturers' facilities work, as part of this UK-wide Open House.
Manufacturers are participating in a number of ways, from a single tour to a full programme of events, with Make UK assisting every step of the journey.
Cosmetics retailer Lush is just one of the businesses hosting an open day for its local schools and community where visitors will get the chance to take part in live product creation sessions – and make their very own bath bomb. They will also see Lush’s Green Hub, the brand’s pioneering investment into the circular economy.
