Aspera Solutions, which distributes Ross ERP in Ireland, has announced that CDC Software (its author) has introduced end-to-end CRM (customer relationship management), with full order management, for the suite.
Lonan Byrne, Aspera managing director, says that the release now enables Ross ERP to manage the entire customer cycle for a manufacturing and/or distribution business.
"Many companies have implemented CRM systems as separate entities from ERP," says Byrne. "With CRM in Ross ERP, you have true customer management, from the first marketing activity, through the order management processes, to after-sales service."
And he adds: "The partner management and customer self service features make Ross CRM particularly suitable for manufacturers and distributors of consumer products like food, personal care and household chemicals."
The new Ross CRM module brings Pivotal CRM functionality into the main ERP suite for €500 per user for between 10 and 40 users – ideal for much of the target market.
Functionality, says Byrne, includes contact management, sales force automation, customer service and self-service, partner management and email marketing, all on a platform that helps companies make the most of their Microsoft tools.
"We believe that our Microsoft-centric solution for SMBs is an ideal match for mid-sized businesses," says Arash Asli, global vice president of CRM solutions at CDC. "It offers the big benefits of rich CRM functionality, consistent customer experience management, fast implementation, easy configuration and personalisation, and low maintenance – all with the ease of use and affordability required by them."
