iconsys, the control and automation solutions provider, has announced the creation of 15 new jobs focusing on decarbonisation solutions.

The company plans to boost its recruitment to increase its workforce to 1125 over the next year.

Decarbonisation Opportunities at Telford Site 

On its Telford site, the company is taking advantage of its decarbonisation opportunities such as carbon capture and storage or fuel switching.

Nick Darrall, Managing Director of iconsys, said: “2024 was an exciting year for the business, with two new technical offices opening in Cheshire and Scotland to support our Telford base and give us greater geographical reach and access to new talent.

This has given us the foundations to aggressively attack new opportunities that we believe will come to fruition this year, as an increasing number of companies - from pretty much every sector imaginable - begin or accelerate their decarbonisation plans.”

iconsys Success in the Marine and Ports Sector 

iconsys is having success in the marine and ports sector, as the industry moves towards automation-driven smart ports such as smart shore power systems.

The company, which expects revenues to increase by 15% this year, has the capability to work with customers through the complete asset lifecycle.

Expanding Portfolio and Future Plans 

It is also offering digital, cybersecurity, and safety services as part of its growing portfolio of solutions.

The company plans to use AI tools in the business and in its solutions for its customers.
