Oxfordshire-based Norbar Torque Tools has officially opened it new premises in Mumbai, India, making the sub-continent the latest part of a network of Norbar companies based in Australia, China, New Zealand, Singapore and the USA.
The opening and ribbon cutting was performed by managing director Neill Brodey and UKTI head of trade for west India David Moore (pictured, left with Neill Brodey – in festive headgear – right).
With its main manufacturing site at Banbury, Norbar is a specialist in the design, development and production of torque tightening and measuring equipment.
Commenting that his grandfather had founded the Norbar family firm 70 years ago, Brodey commented: "He would have been very pleased to see the progress made by Norbar through expanding its business globally. India offers very good opportunities and Norbar India will provide an improved level of technical support and service."
