‘Applications Unlimited’ will be among Oracle key messages to conferences in 27 cities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, starting today in Paris.

Oracle says its one-day events, which are part of Oracle’s 1000 Events Applications World Tour, will set out the company’s long-term commitment to Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Siebel solutions, and will redefine the suites’ future product roadmap. Oracle’s Applications Unlimited programme is about giving users the opportunity to continue with their existing software or to evolve to its newer technologies – but doing so only when the time is right for them. “We are giving customers the best of both worlds – more value from their existing applications, which we plan to enhance indefinitely, and an option to upgrade free of charge to future technologies,” says Sergio Giacoletto, executive vice president, Oracle EMEA. “We are also offering Lifetime Support, which enables customers to receive support for as long as they license Oracle software.” Events in the UK and Ireland will take place on the following dates: 7th November - London: Holiday Inn Hotel Bloomsbury 8th November – Birmingham: Jury’s Inn Hotel 9th November – Manchester: Manchester United Football Club 14th November – Edinburgh: Oracle Edinburgh Office 22nd November - Dublin: Radisson SAS St Helen’s.
