Poznan Municipal Transport Company has signed a deal with IFS Poland and system integrator Sygnity SA for an ERP system to help increase the efficiency of its business processes and the availability of its services.
Value of the contract is € 1.6 million, and implementation of the system, which will support 300 users, has just started.
Wojciech Tulibacki, president of MPK Poznan, says that IFS Applications will support key business processes, including project management and accounting, financials, purchasing and logistics, maintenance, document management, HR and payroll.
"We decided to implement IFS Applications to improve our company's efficiency, because it is a modern, integrated ERP system with a proven track record for our type of processes," says Tulibacki.
"After the implementation, we expect to utilise our resources better, increase profitability, and provide better transport services to the people of Poznan," he adds.
