Advanced planning and specialist software specialist Preactor is bucking the trend, announcing a surge in sales for 2008, 21% up on the 12 months before, itself previously a record year.
Mike Novels, Preactor president and CEO, says that equates to a further 250 companies – all the way from SMEs to global brands, signing up to its APS particularly in the food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and life sciences sectors.
He also says that Preactor’s global partner network grew substantially last year, and now comprises more than 425 companies, largely due to high speed implementations and rapid delivery of cost savings – precisely what most manufacturers are looking for in the current economic climate.
“More than ever, manufacturers, irrespective of size, need a fast and positive impact on profitability from their IT investments, as well as to retain and even increase their competitiveness,” says Novels.
“The fact that Preactor can be quickly implemented across multiple sites, using local expertise, brings not just fast results at individual sites, but to the group as a whole… Fast ROI is easy to say, but harder to deliver. We have more than 100 verifiable case studies freely available from on our website.”
