Preactor APS software achieves SAP certification

The certification applies to SAP solutions all the way from R3 to ECC6, using the SAP NetWeaver technology platform, and Preactor CEO Mike Novels says SAP users can now get the visibility, agility and control over production planning and scheduling that modern manufacturing requires. "This certification is the natural outcome of our considerable experience with numerous SAP customers and partners worldwide," says Novels. "The ability of Preactor to leverage the business potential of assets, provided by solutions from SAP and other vendors, will prove highly beneficial," he adds. Novels also expects the largely indirect nature of Preactor software sales to appeal to existing SAP partners and resellers involved with manufacturing industry. "The certified link will allow them to provide a complete end-to-end solution," he suggests. Meanwhile, as an SAP software solution partner, Preactor can now offer a production planning and scheduling system that seamlessly integrates with SAP ERP applications. And Noels makes the point that Preactor can and already does work with SAP to lower inventory levels, reduce costs, respond to shorter lead time requirements and provide accurate delivery date information.
