Preactor hits 2,000 mark for its scheduling software

Advanced planning and scheduling software firm Preactor says that more than 2,000 manufacturing companies in 64 countries are now using its systems.

Preactor managing director Mike Novels says: “Manufacturers are beginning to realise that to remain competitive, they simply cannot continue to rely on spreadsheets for production planning and scheduling. “We are also seeing more interest from global companies wanting a single solution across all their plants, but recognising that they need local support for the implementation. “Our range of solutions can be customised to fit each plant’s needs based on a single code base, while our team of partners can provide the local expertise, training and implementation support.”
