Preactor Selects Flexera Software for compliance management

To date, Preactor has been using a mix of two third party licensing methods, comprising SafeNet HASP HL dongles and Microcosm CopyControl software licensing, but going international has made dongle logistics less practical. Adam Durling, software development manager at Preactor, says that the firm will implement and begin rolling out FlexNet Publisher across its suite of production planning and scheduling solutions by the end of this year. The company says it will also deploy FlexNet Operations, including integration with its customer relationship management (CRM) system. "As a rapidly growing software company, we need a software license management solution that is flexible enough to meet our customers' requirements which is always our first priority," says Durling. "Flexera Software will provide us with a solution that would both meet our needs today and keep up with changing market trends to support our future needs as well," he adds.
