Bursting discs and explosion panels manufacturer Elfab has implemented its ERP system in just eight weeks.
The firm is now live with an Efacs system from Exel, and Mark Suddes, Elfab’s project manager, reports that benefits include better communication between departments and other systems – with all that brings.
He also confirms that having an integrated business system in charge has a significant impact – and on more than day-to-day manufacturing business management. Elfab has just introduced its ‘Optigard’ pressure monitoring system, and its integrated ERP system was instrumental in getting a smooth fast launch to market.
Overall, he says it’s a flexible management reporting tool, is easy to use with information presented more clearly. “We can make tweaks and changes to processes where needed, because Efacs is very adaptable,” he says.
