The Green Unbreakable Cloud Initiative (GUCI) has launched a major recruitment drive to attract talent to build the next generation of cloud architectures.
Kristof De Spiegeleer, CEO of Incubaid, a founding members of the technology group, which is building data centres for energy efficient and scalable cloud computing, explains that growth in demand is forcing the pace.
"GUCI spans a whole host of interlocking technologies and our mission now is to find individuals from across the world who can take technology, processes and innovation and use them to help drive a cloud computing revolution, " explains De Spiegeleer.
"We are in the process now of recruiting around 30 people across engineering, implementation, sales and supporting roles that want to work on projects that will help define new paradigms in our industry," he adds.
GUCI members include: technology incubator Incubaid; green storage firm Amplidata; modular data centre specialist Dacentec; A-Server, which created SmartStyle Computing; off the shelf cloud firm DAAS.com; high density racking company PlateRack; and power distribution expert Racktivity.
"As a group, GUCI is now raising its profile and expanding its operational footprint in line with demand," states De Spiegeleer, "Our goal is to hire people that have both the experience and vision to look at the bigger picture and drive innovation."
