Roberts Mart packs a punch with Syspro 6.1 ERP

Commercial director Simon Roberts reckons the ERP system, from Manchester-based K3 Business Technology Group, will also ease administration and boost customer service by allowing clients secure access to information over the web. "Syspro 6.1 is a fully integrated system and, importantly for us, does not need extra third-party software," comments Roberts. "It is a one-stop-shop, one supplier solution, which means we only need to deal with K3," he adds. And he continues: "The new software will bring clarity of information, improving our responsiveness and customer service… We will have a real-time solution, giving managers instant updates whenever they need them." In operation, Roberts explains that production information will be captured and transmitted to the finite scheduling module, to keep manufacturing on track. And the result: "We will be more responsive and we will know where we are with orders and production hour-by-hour. The new software will also help with our growth plans, allowing us to switch on new features as and when we need them," says Roberts.
