Thermomax opts for Concept’s integrated manufacturing software

Thermomax, the manufacturer of solar energy and refrigeration products, has selected Concept Computer Systems’ integrated manufacturing (MRPII) software suite – Concept3000 – to run its two sites in Northern Ireland and Wales. The contract, worth more than £100k, includes full materials and resource management, financials, sales and purchase order processing, production control, plus contract costing and estimating. But the system supplied includes much more than the basic MRPII elements, with e-commerce facilities, image viewing and PDM (product data management) all part of the deal. And Concept is currently developing more sophisticated software (and barcoding facilities) to help synchronise Concept3000 between Thermomax’s two sites.
