Building products manufacturer Thomas Armstrong (Holdings) has selected Wesupply to deliver a managed EDI trading documents service covering exchange of orders, invoices and acknowledgements with five key customers.
Paul Armstrong, financial director at the company, explains that Thomas Armstrong was an existing Wesupply user, but only for trading electronically with a key builder's merchant.
However, when it experienced service problems with its incumbent EDI provider, while at the same time receiving an additional EDI mandate, the decision was made to consolidate all EDI operations with Wesupply.
"We decided to move all of our EDI capability on to one platform, as we wanted one point of contact for all EDI issues," states Armstrong.
"We chose Wesupply's OneTime solution, as we'd had a good experience of working with Wesupply and, most importantly, they have a proven track record of connecting with our customers," he explains.
