Marla Tube Fittings fixes on managed EDI service
Tubes and pipelines specialist Marla Tube Fittings has signed up with Wesupply for its OneTime managed EDI solution, to automate the exchange of orders and invoices with one of its key customers.
Paul Rodgers, IT analyst at Marla Tube Fittings, says that the outsourced service, which replaces its now decommissioned system, means that the company can continue to use its preferred communication method, while still meeting the customer's electronic trading requirements.
OneTime will connect directly with the customer and translate Marla Tube Fittings' messages into the required format, all without the requirement of a costly VAN mailbox, he explains.
"Outsourcing our EDI to Wesupply will enable us to continue fulfilling our customer's EDI requirements without any disruption to us or our customer," he states.
