Flogas recommends managed EDI service

National LPG supplier Flogas is reporting success with its managed EDI service MosaicEDI, from Chase Consultancy.
Robert Geere, head of IT at Flogas, explains that the system handles all the organisation's EDI requirements for a fixed fee and under a strict SLA.
"Thanks to Chase, all our EDI requirements are handled smoothly and efficiently," comments Geere. "We only need to get directly involved if there is a problem and that hardly ever happens."

He points out that implementing EDI with new trading partners quickly and accurately, as well as supporting on-going changes in partners' requirements, requires dedicated, specialist resources.

"There are also complex issues around supporting changes within internal applications, such as ERP, financial and logistics applications and how these affect the EDI service."
