Top innovator award for Vanguard

Judges noted how Vanguard has been transformed from a traditional manufacturer into a cutting-edge company, introducing new products and diversifying into fresh market sectors – a course that puts the firm firmly on course to achieve record turnover in 2009. Managing director Paul Howcroft (pictured front with the award is joined by, clockwise, business development manager Peter Irvine, logistics supervisor Steve Lawton and finance director Malcolm Howlett) said: “We have come far in recent years.
