Transport firm’s green fleet investment
Yorkshire-based logistics firm Nidd Transport has replaced its trucks with a fleet of environmentally-friendly vehicles.
Nidd, a member of the Palletforce network, is now using vehicles with fuel-efficient, low-emission engines on all its domestic and international routes from its base in Ripon.
Sales manager Steve Godfrey commented: "We take our environmental impact very seriously. These new vehicles, combined with driver monitoring and education in the best way to use the vehicles, will not only reduce our impact on the environment but also improve our efficiency and allow us to offer an even better service to customers both in the UK and on the continent."
Nidd Transport delivers throughout the UK and Ireland as well as mainland Europe, with daily services to France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
