Tricorn Systems spreading its wings

Production management systems developer Tricorn Systems says it’s coming out of the closet and looking for new business among manufacturers.

The company, which has been in business for around 15 years selling to automotive suppliers, aerospace industry suppliers – 312 companies in the UK and Ireland – has always sold its systems by word of mouth. Now, however, according to sales director Bill Cooper, it is looking to grow this privately held £450,000 turnover business, by making others aware of what it can do. For the record, its system, written in-house and based on the Microsoft platform, handles everything from quotations to printing job cards for production, as well as stock control, order processing, MRP, shop floor data collection and planning and scheduling – with its own and links to the Preactor range. It also offers supply chain EDI integration and a stand alone package for regulatory compliance all the way from ISO 2001 to aerospace requirements.
