A TV production company is looking for a factory with a "large group of female workers and a strong sense of community and identity" to feature in a documentary for Channel 4.
The observational documentary series, to be made by Dragonfly TV, will celebrate "the great British workforce" and tap into community spirit and working relationships.
Dragonfly TV said: "We would like to make a warm, original series which promotes traditional values and gives viewers an insight into the day to day workings of a factory and the people who work there.
"The content of the programme will be very much shaped by the company we film with, but ultimately we would want to work together to make the best series we can, celebrating and personalising British made products and the production process. Ideally we would like to find a company with a strong sense of identity and community."
It added: "We are ideally looking for a factory with lots of female workers all working in the same room and a minimum of 50 employees, but we'd be open to any suggestions. It would also be nice to find a place where there are interesting relationships between the employees – perhaps two generations of one family working together, or maybe a place where employees have developed strong friendships."
