Jungheinrich launches electric pedestrian stacker
Materials handling business Jungheinrich has launched a range of compact electric-powered, pedestrian-operated stacker trucks.
The EJC 110/112/212 models can lift loads of up to 1.2 tonnes to heights of 4.7 m. Three-phase AC motors mean the trucks are energy efficient.
The new models have been designed in such a way that, in the event of a wheel change being required, there is no need to lift the truck completely – the support wheel can be simply and safely put in place by hand, minimising downtime.
An on-board charger enables opportunity charging throughout the shift. The charger is enclosed to IP 54 standards so it can also be used within a cold store environment.
With the tiller in an upright position and the crawl speed button set, the truck can be manoeuvred safely and efficiently in the narrowest aisles and within confined warehouse spaces.
