Acal Supply Chain and Service Business pave way to new 4PL
Computer service parts supply-chain firm Acal Supply Chain says it has selected The Service Business to implement MCA software to improve flexibility, agility and the scalability of its inventory planning for customers.
Jon King, Acal supply chain director, says the partnership will set the standard for the next generation of 4PLs.
"The teams involved in this partnership share a history and expertise in supply chain issues; from IT and call centre through to logistics and people management," he explains.
"By combining our skills, we are in a position to help customers drive real value from their service supply chain business."
Acal's investment is aimed at consolidating internal systems and spreading best practise and cost effective solutions.
