Babcock International picks Camwood for Windows 7 migration prioject
Babcock International has awarded the contract to prepare for its Windows 7 application transformation programme to Camwood, in a bid to minimise disruption and cost.
The application logistics specialist will be rationalising and categorising Babcock's application portfolio in readiness for the migration using tools including Camwood's award-winning AppTitude application compatibility software from App-DNA.
"Experience shows us that by following our Application Migration Intelligence approach, it can drive down costs and project timescales by as much as 60—80%," states Camwood CEO Frank Foxall.
"I am delighted that our expertise will play a big part in this Babcock project to help them prepare their application estate for a smooth transition to Windows 7," he adds.
