Biella to consolidate on IFS across Europe
Switzerland’s biggest manufacturer of office supplies Biella Group expects to increase efficiency and improve competitiveness and agility by consolidating its systems across Europe onto IFS Applications 7.
IFS Applications is to be implemented in Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Netherlands, Hungary, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia, starting this month, with the first go-live scheduled for the end of the year.
“IFS could ensure a high coverage of our process requirements,” says Leo Dürmoser, Biella’s IT manager. “Additional arguments were their international presence, good solutions for inter-company functions and the modular, component-based system architecture.”
Biella will be implementing IFS’ modules for financials, distribution, manufacturing, HR, sales and service, business modelling, document management and quality management.
