Britvic to open factory doors at WM Manufacturing Conference

Soft drinks giant Britvic is offering WM readers an exclusive behind the scenes look at how continuous improvement has helped boost shopfloor productivity at its Rugby site.

Britvic joins Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin in hosting factory tours at the WM Manufacturing Conference 2011 on 16-17 November. Delegates will tour the Swift Lane facility which produces Pepsi, 7 Up and Tango. Jason Larkman, Britvic continuous improvement guru, will then detail how CI tools have been employed at the plant during his keynote conference address. Larkman is joined by other lean experts including Grant McPherson, plant director at JLR's Castle Bromwich factory at the event. Other headline speakers include Mark Bown, global customer service improvement manager at power giant Cummins and Tyrone White of the Eaton Group. The WM Manufacturing Conference will also provide delegates with the chance to take part in a series of lean workshops with sessions from DAK Consulting and Oneflow.
