Campbell Soup has signed a 65-month agreement for IT outsourcing services, extending its 15-year partnership.
As part of the agreement, IBM will provide IT infrastructure services, network support, application maintenance services and security services from ISS (IBM Internet Security Systems).
Big Blue will also offer infrastructure services on demand, which it says will improve cost efficiency and increase flexibility. IBM's global delivery centres will support Campbell's operations in North America, Asia Pacific and Europe.
"IBM's ability to deliver quality services that help us achieve our business goals is the main reason for our long-term, successful relationship," comments Joe Spagnoletti, Campbell Soup's CIO. "In a competitive environment, it is important to have a partner that understands our business and provides added value."
