Rheinmetall extends IT contract With IBM to2016
Rheinmetall and its automotive division Kolbenschmidt Pierburg are renewing their IT services contracts in Germany.
IBM will cover infrastructure operation, SAP support, network operation, email, CAD support, desktop services, help desk and phone management.
Under the terms of its triple-digit million euro contract, Big Blue will also assist Rheinmetall through international support structures across several time zones, enabling business innovation and covering increasingly strict audit requirements.
“By rearranging and renewing our contract we are expanding our relationship with IBM,” explains Rheinmetall CIO Markus Bentele.
