Specialist doors and windows manufacturer Blairs of Scotland says it is expecting to improve the efficiency of its operations by implementing a Frontier ERP system from developer Friedman.
It’s part of the company’s growth investment, which includes doubling its manufacturing capacity to 60,000 windows and doors, per annum.
Blairs specialises in make-to-order, high quality timber windows and doors, blending skilled craftsmanship with technology in a factory on the shores of the Firth of Clyde, Greenock.
The firm chose Friedman because of its reputation in the industry and for its Frontier product configurator, which will streamline complex sales order processing and help reduce manufacturing lead-times.
“We are confident that Frontier will enable us to reach our expansion goals by improving our internal efficiency and operations,” says John Torley, Blairs finance director.
