Exhaust system manufacturer awards distribution deal to Nightfreight

Exhaust system and towbar manufacturer Bosal UK has awarded a two-year deal to Nightfreight for the outbound delivery of goods from the manufacturer's Preston site to its aftermarket customers around the UK.
The contract sees Nightfreight managing all outbound delivery of Bosal's full product range – 12,000 items per week – including exhaust systems, catalytic converters and steel tubing. As Bosal's sole logistics partner for aftermarket products in the UK, Nightfreight will provide a nationwide six-day, next-day delivery service, as part of its national 'shared user' network of 53 depots. This replaces a previous multiple contractor and dedicated fleet operation.
Peter Hayden, Bosal's sales and marketing director, says Nightfreight offered the most competitive and flexible commercial package. "We were very impressed with the way Nightfreight understood our business and customer base from day one during a very competitive tender.
