GKN Driveline, B Hepworth and Goodrich have bolstered the factory tour line up at this month's Works Management Manufacturing Conference (WMMC).
GKN will offer delegates an exclusive look at its Erdington plant, which manufactures the most extensive range of driveline components in the automotive industry at WMMC on 16 November.
Windscreen wiper system specialist will show how Heijunka and visual management have technology that allowed the driver of the world's fastest train to see at speeds of nearly 260mph.
And aerospace and defence systems specialist Goodrich will detail the continuous improvement secrets at its Wolverhampton plant, which produces hydraulic, fly-by-wire and power-by-wire technology for civil and military aircraft.
The sites join a factory tour line up that already includes Jaguar Land Rover, Castle Bromwich and Britvic, Rugby at the WMMC conference, which takes place on 16-17 November.
WMMC will showcase the continuous improvement secrets behind some of the UK's most successful manufacturing sites.
The event held at St John's hotel in Solihull, will include keynote speakers from JLR, Cummins Power Generation and Cranfield University alongside factory tours and CI workshops from Oneflow, DAK Consulting and Sora Group.
