Industrial and domestic heating control products manufacturer Heatmiser says it has selected SAP’s Business One ERP system to improve customer service.
The system, which is one of SAP’s solutions aimed at manufacturing SMEs, will replace two non-integrated legacy systems – from Sage and Herschel. Heatmiser expects it to provide its staff with a better single view of its customers, while also eliminating data inaccuracies.
“[We] looked at both SAP Business One and Pegasus Opera but we chose to go with SAP, because it included an integrated CRM [customer relationship management] and MRP module. It met our business needs head-on.
“We have just gone live on the system and expect our repeat business from existing customers to increase considerably,” said Martyn Kay, a director at Heatmiser.
