Hutchinson enhances operations in Argentina with Infor

Rubber auto parts manufacturer Hutchinson reckons it has streamlined its Argentine production operations, and bolstered global collaboration by implementing Infor ERP XA.
The Martinez-based company, which supplies fluid transfer, vibration, acoustical and thermal insulation, as well as precision sealing systems to automotive OEMs worldwide, reckons it has reduced costs, inventor and, redundant business processes.
Says Hutchinson general director Gustavo Manteo: "Infor ERP XA improves our inventory management, while reducing replenishment and overstock costs, and eliminates manual and redundant business processes."
And he adds: "The system consolidates all our business processes, making it easier to control, and provides access to all the information we need on our products anywhere and anytime."
From a global perspective, since ERP XA supports multiple languages, currencies and time zones, it has also enabled Hutchinson to handle all transaction types from any of its locations, as well as with customers and suppliers worldwide.
Incidentally, Manteo also asserts that the system has helped Hutchinson to improve customer satisfaction, decrease stock, increase inventory visibility and improve lead times and operational efficiency.
