IMS Gear opts for Plex Online SaaS ERP system
German gear wheelss manufacturer IMS Gear says that it expects improve efficiency and flexibility as it moves from an Infor ERP environment to Plex Online.
The company says it is deploying t its new business software at manufacturing plants in Germany, Mexico and the US.
"We opted for Plex Online as our ERP system of choice, because of its comprehensive functionality, ability to consolidate data from our various manufacturing locations, and its secure infrastructure," comments IMS Gear CEO/CFO Clemens Rosenstiel.
"Plex Online is the solution that best met our current and anticipated needs. We are confident Plex Online will help us grow in the global marketplace," he adds.
The system is being run as a SaaS (software as a service) solution, providing real-time views of all aspects of business operations and manufacturing processes, without the large, up-front expenses, hardware infrastructure and maintenance costs required for traditional, on-premise ERP systems.
